Job summary

Oscar is hiring a Program Manager, Vendor Management Operations to join our Workforce Management team. The role supports vendor management activities to ensure success and drives operational improvements across core vendor operations. You will report into the Associate Director, Workforce Management.

This Tempe, Arizona role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week ( Thursdays required). The base pay ranges from $100,602 to $132,040 per year, with benefits, unlimited vacation,

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of BPO program and/or project management experience, creating dashboards and playbooks.
  • 4+ years experience in change management and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify optimization opportunities to support program objectives.
  • Support implementations end to end to ensure success.
  • Lead certain components of the program.
  • Partner with other departments and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
  • Support end-to-end program activities, manage plans, status, escalations, risks, milestones, and retros.
  • Support tracking and monitoring of controls.
  • Develop tools and standards to support year-over-year programs.
  • Develop meeting materials and manage action items.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About the role

The Program Manager is responsible for supporting all activities related to vendor management to ensure success. Additionally supports operational improvements for core vendor operations, including proper controls and monitoring, to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness, supporting the program across the organization and helping implement project management fundamentals and standards across the organization.

You will report into the Associate Director, Workforce Management.

Work Location

This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.

Pay Transparency

The base pay for this role is: $100,602 - $132,040 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan participation, life and disability insurance, and paid wellness time and reimbursements.

Responsibilities
  • Identify optimization opportunities to support program objectives
  • Support implementations end to end to ensure success
  • Lead certain components of the program
  • Partner with other departments and various stakeholders to ensure operational excellence
  • Support a successful program end to end through assisting in project plan development, keeping your stakeholders in the loop on status, proactively flagging, managing escalations, tracking and helping to resolve program risks and milestones, and supporting program retros to assess strengths and weaknesses
  • Support the tracking and monitoring of controls
  • Develop tools and standards to support team programs year over year based on program retros
  • Develop meeting materials, track and follow-up on action items, assist with management of all project plans
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 4+ years of BPO program and/or project management experience, creating dashboards and playbooks
  • 4+ years experience in change management and process improvement
Bonus points
  • PMP or Six Sigma certification
  • Proficiency in Excel or Sheets
