Job summary

Orangepeople is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead a creator empowerment initiative that expands distribution, monetization, and platform presence. You will drive selection, execution, and advocacy, coordinating across Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and other teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven talent growth, cohort performance, and strategic insights, with a venture-capital mindset to scale from 900 to 2,000+ creators, while maintaining lean operations and a strong creator

  • Track cross-platform creator advocacy and report success stories to leadership
  • Refine messaging and engagement across the program lifecycle
  • Use performance dashboards, AI/LLM tools, and market research to monitor engagement and trends

Job description

We are on the hunt for a dynamic Program Manager to lead an innovative initiative dedicated to empowering creators and expanding their reach. This strategic program is designed to elevate selected creators by enhancing their distribution, monetization, and overall platform presence, driving organic advocacy and strengthening our community. Operating with a venture capital mindset, we identify breakout talent, fuel their growth through targeted investments, and seamlessly transition successful creators to onboard new cohorts. Following impressive early results, we're excited to scale this program from approximately 900 creators to a robust community of 2,000 to 2,500, unlocking new opportunities for both creators and our company's future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creator Selection: Identify high-potential creators by leveraging data analytics alongside nuanced cultural and audience judgment.
  • Program Execution: Direct day-to-day operations and coordinate cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Cohort Performance Management: Maintain detailed oversight of cohort metrics; monitor reach, distribution, and content quality to inform decisions regarding continued investment or offboarding.
  • Advocacy & Strategic Insights: Track and document notable instances of cross-platform creator advocacy (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) and report key success stories to executive leadership.
  • Creator Experience Strategy: Refine selection messaging, communication protocols, and engagement frameworks across the full program lifecycle.
  • Analytical Research: Utilize performance dashboards, AI/LLM tools, and market research to monitor engagement dynamics and broader cultural trends.
Required Skills:
  • Cultural Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of US and Canadian cultural landscapes, with the ability to identify content creators who resonate across diverse demographic segments.
  • Program Leadership: Demonstrated track record of managing complex, high-profile initiatives while making sound strategic business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Proven capability to influence, align, and drive deliverables across diverse organizational stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
  • Resourcefulness: A self-directed operating style with the ability to function effectively within a lean team structure and leverage emerging technologies independently.
  • Product Awareness: While core product infrastructure is established, basic product acumen is beneficial to complement cultural judgment and leadership capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience is highly advantageous to enable rapid navigation across Product, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations.
  • Preferred industry backgrounds include the creator economy, media and entertainment, talent acquisition/management, or cultural strategy.

  • Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
