Job summary

The Program Manager at the Center for Urban Entrepreneurship (CUE) at Rochester Institute of Technology leads innovative programs, conducts scholarly and market research, and supports aspiring entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses.

Reporting to the Director, you will research program models, build partnerships, supervise student staff, and evaluate outcomes to advance inclusive economic development in downtown Rochester.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of program management principles, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ability to lead, supervise student employees, and collaborate with internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interdisciplinary scholarly and industry market research to support program development.
• Design, implement, and evaluate entrepreneurial programs aligned with mission, vision, and budget.
• Providing market research training, guidance, and resources to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
• Building and maintaining partnerships with organizations that offer complementary resources and programs.
• Assessing program effectiveness and preparing reports that measure outcomes and impact.
• Hiring, training, and supervising student employees who support CUE operations and initiatives.
