This section develops partnerships with multiple clinical agencies, secures agreement for clinical practice sites, recruits, hires and orients part-time clinical instructors to their role and oversees the process for evaluating part-time clinical instructors and clinical sites.
The Program Manager, Undergraduate Clinical Partnerships & Placements for the Accelerated BSN Program in Dallas, TX must be at a minimum BSN-prepared, MSN preferred, with an active license as a registered nurse. Reports to the Assistant Dean for the Accelerated BSN Program and functionally reports to the Site Director for the CSON ABSN Program in Dallas. Secures sufficient placements and clinical instructors and preceptors for all clinical rotations in the Accelerated BSN Program and contributes to continued CSON undergraduate program stability. The successful incumbent will demonstrate emotional maturity, keen organizational skills, and engage in a steep learning curve to assure continued departmental functioning with a specific focus on expanded clinical site partnerships and secured clinical placements for all Accelerated BSN clinical rotations. The successful incumbent will evidence exceptional verbal skills and writing proficiency. Works with support staff who process the approval of the clinical agency contracts with The Catholic University of America.
The projected salary range for this position, which represents the full range of anticipated compensationis: $75,000-$85,000 annually.
Education:
BSN required, MSN Preferred
Practical Experience:
A minimum of five years as a BSN, MSN‑preferred registered nurse with experience as a clinical preceptor/instructor highly recommended.
Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certification:
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Blackboard, Word, Excel, and Zoom.
Able to navigate Cardinal Station, knowledge of key referrals for upper-level nursing students.
Active DC RN License.
