Job summary

A leading talent management organization is seeking a Program Manager for Talent and Organization Development to oversee the design and implementation of talent development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of experience in talent and learning development, with strong expertise in coaching and strategic program management. This role requires in-office presence at least four days per week and offers a salary range of $87,200 to $130,800, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in talent development, learning & development, leadership development, or HR roles.
  • Experience with program and project management methodologies.
  • PMP or equivalent certifications are a plus.

  • Oversee project management including timelines, budgets, and metrics.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching for executives and high-potentials.

Job description

Program Manager (Talent and Organization Development)

The Talent and Organization Development Program Manager oversees the end-to-end design, implementation, and evaluation of talent development initiatives—spanning employee skill enhancement, leadership growth, and organizational capability building. Reporting to senior HR leadership, this role ensures programs align with business objectives and foster a high‑performing culture. Required in‑office presence at least 4 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Program Strategy & Design: Develop and execute multi‑year L&D and leadership development strategies that align with organizational goals; identify skill and leadership gaps via needs assessments, succession planning, and analytics; leverage competency frameworks for career progression pathways and leadership pipelines.
  • Program Development & Delivery: Create blended learning solutions (workshops, coaching, e‑learning, experiential assignments) using adult learning principles (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick); facilitate or coordinate delivery of training sessions, workshops, and mentoring initiatives; engage external vendors and oversee delivery.
  • Program & Stakeholder Management: Oversee project management—timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, metrics, and executive reporting; collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, business leaders, and internal SMEs to align content and reinforce learning outcomes.
  • Coaching & Talent Development: Provide one‑on‑one coaching/mentoring for executives, high‑potentials, and emerging leaders; facilitate ongoing learning communities, peer learning, and leadership circles.
  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Develop evaluation frameworks to measure program effectiveness; collect feedback, performance data, and continuously refine content and delivery based on insights.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in talent development, learning & development, leadership development, or HR roles; experience with program and project management methodologies; PMP or equivalent certifications a plus.
  • Skills: Instructional design, LMS platforms, e‑learning tools, virtual facilitation; coaching and facilitation; strategic thinking; analytical impact; stakeholder engagement; project management; exceptional communication.
  • Certifications: SHRM, ATD, MBTI or other assessment tools, ICF, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Salary Range
  • $87,200.00 – $130,800.00 per year (bonus eligible)
