Job summary

The Charles Lea Center in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Program Manager to oversee two locations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with disabilities. This role supervises Lead DSPs and DSPs and supports staff under the Assistant Director.

Responsibilities include program oversight, staff development, and community integration, with emphasis on safety, reporting, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license and Social Security number
• Ability to type 70+ WPM and navigate basic computer systems
• Must pass background checks, DMV screening, Medicaid exclusion, fingerprinting (if SC resident <1 year), and provide 3 professional references

Responsibilities

• Program Oversight & Operations: Implement, manage, monitor, and evaluate assigned programs in accordance with standards.
• Oversee daily program operations and ensure facilities are safe, functional, and in optimal condition.
• Honor and actively support the wants, needs, preferences, and personal goals of persons supported.
• Provide intervention and leadership during emergencies and hospitalizations.
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers for continuity of services.
