Job summary

Shermco Industries, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives to lead multiple integration projects within the Transformation organization.

You will coordinate plans, timelines, dependencies, and decisions across Accounting and Finance to support integrated financial processes, systems, and reporting. The role prioritizes candidates in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and offers a hybrid-remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of program or project management experience across large, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong command of project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience developing detailed project plans, managing dependencies, and driving execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for strategic initiatives across functions.
• Develop and maintain integrated program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, risks, and critical decision points.
• Serve as the project manager for selected defined initiatives, owning project plans, timelines, stakeholder coordination, issue resolution, and execution follow-through from launch through completion.
• Establish and manage program governance, including steering committees, executive reviews, operating rhythms, RACI structures, and escalation paths.
• Connect program objectives to enterprise priorities, ensuring workstreams remain focused on strategic value, measurable benefits, and operational adoption.
• Actively manage scope, schedule, resource, and priority trade-offs across the program, escalating decisions and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Define program objectives, success criteria, KPIs, and benefits realization plans in partnership with Finance, business leaders, and initiative owners.
• Track progress against program milestones, deliverables, financial targets, and operational outcomes, ensuring early visibility to risks or barriers.
• Develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards, scorecards, and program updates that clearly communicate status, risks, decisions needed, and value delivered.
• Facilitate recurring program reviews to evaluate progress, resolve blockers, and reinforce accountability across workstream owners.
• Orchestrate cross-functional program teams spanning Operations, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and other enabling functions.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination across business owners, project leads, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure clarity of roles, deliverables, and decision rights.
• Drive alignment across competing priorities through structured planning, dependency management, decision facilitation, and escalation when required.
• Ensure program execution remains connected to operational readiness, stakeholder adoption, and long‑term sustainment.
• Partner with change management and communications resources to support rollout planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking.
• Ensure project plans incorporate change readiness activities, cutover planning, and sustainment milestones.
• Track adoption metrics and operational readiness to ensure delivered solutions translate into realized business value.

Overview

The Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives leads multiple integration projects in partnership with Accounting and Finance. Reporting to the Transformation organization, this role coordinates project plans, timelines, dependencies, and decisions across teams to support the integration of financial processes, systems, and reporting.

The role serves as the central point of coordination for Accounting and Finance stakeholders, providing visibility into progress, resolving risks and issues, and keeping each project aligned with business priorities. Success is measured by timely execution, clear ownership, and integrated processes that support accurate reporting and effective financial operations.

This role offers a hybrid-remote work arrangement; however, we are prioritizing candidates based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership & Governance

Qualifications

Required

• 8–12+ years of experience in program or project management roles, with a focus on large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.

• Demonstrated success managing multi-workstream programs with defined schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.

• Strong command of project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Experience developing detailed project plans, managing dependencies, and driving execution rigor.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance metrics and financial impacts.

Preferred

• PMP,PgMP,SAFe, or similar certification.

• Experience managing transformation or operational improvement programs in industrial, construction, electrical, or asset-intensive environments.

• Hands‑on experience coordinating technology-enabled initiatives (ERP, CRM, CPQ, or reporting systems).

• Experience working in decentralized or multi-site organizations.
