West Michigan Center for Arts + Technology (WMCAT) seeks a Program Manager to lead Workforce Development initiatives, including Step Year and Adult Career Training. You will recruit participants, coordinate curriculum, facilitate sessions, and connect students to community resources in Kent County.

Ideal candidates have nonprofit program management experience, strong communication, and a deep understanding of equity issues affecting education access.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree is preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit settings is highly valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to engage learners in non-traditional classroom settings is desirable.
• Experience navigating MI Bridges systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with initiative while prioritizing multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Step Year program, aligning with goals and curriculum.
• Coordinate with the director of workforce development to identify partnerships.
• Document findings and recommendations for internal use and reporting.
