Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, seeks a dynamic Program Manager to lead the San Antonio Skilled Trades Academy.

You will translate national objectives into regional plans, oversee cohort schedules, and build employer partnerships to expand impact and outcomes for participants. This full-time role focuses on workforce development for transitioning service members and military-connected communities, requires strong communication and relationship-building,

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with data-driven updates.

Responsibilities

• Own program strategy and execution for the San Antonio Skilled Trades Academy, translating national objectives into regional plans and measurable targets.
• Align offerings with industry needs by analyzing labor market trends and feedback from employers and partners.
• Identify growth opportunities and present recommendations with rationale and impact.
• Conduct business development to recruit new companies and nurture employer relationships.
• Plan and host networking events to foster community and connection among participants and employers.
• Promote sponsorship opportunities to support program growth and sustainability.
• Deliver engaging briefings and webinars to educate transitioning service members about program benefits and enrollment.
• Manage training-provider performance and maintain participant experience standards.
• Provide personalized support to participants throughout the fellowship journey.
• Track outcomes and report results to measure impact and inform improvements.
• Develop executive-ready updates for leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across HOH programs to support regional events and initiatives.
