Envisioneering, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to support NRCO, providing program and technical oversight and serving as the primary liaison to the NRCO customer for the task.

The role leads development teams, defines performance requirements, ensures compliance with DoD contracts, and coordinates with vendors. Travel up to 20-25%, with DoD clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of related engineering experience.
• Five+ years in physics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering field.
• Familiar with DoD and USN Systems Engineering and Acquisition practices.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage complex projects.
• Experience in identifying, evaluating architectural and technology options and risks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to support system documentation.
• Experience producing and presenting briefings for technical and executive audiences.
• DoD Top Secret clearance required at hire with ability to obtain TS.
• U.S. Citizenship Required.

Job description

Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to support our current work with the Naval Rapid Capabilities Office (NRCO). The Naval Rapid Capabilities Office performs applied research and development, systems engineering, and applications-oriented activities for rapid assessment, execution, fielding, and transition of new or novel technologies to ensure maritime supremacy. This position will provide program and technical oversight and operate as the primary liaison to the NRCO customer for the task.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight/management of the task support.
• Serve as a technical lead in the development of research and development efforts and contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members and vendors.
• Recognize novel technical challenges that arise in the design work, generate solutions, and direct efforts to achieve resolution.
• Assist in defining and advising on system performance requirements.
• Assessing and ensuring compliance of program deliverables and ensure that performance meets all Government contracting requirements within cost and schedule.
• Assist in the identification of areas that could benefit from improved performance, capacity, reliability, efficiency, and/or life cycle cost.
• Develop Project Management Plans for task execution and establish project guidelines that meet contractual requirements, as well as Envisioneering’s corporate practices and procedures.
• Assist in the capture of monthly progress reports detailing work performed, schedule of activities, and issues/concerns arising or potentially arising in the following month’s efforts, (submitted monthly).
• Ability to ride ships and demonstrate new technologies as a part of the government/contractor team.
• Develop POA&Ms and track based on Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.
• Run weekly/biweekly meetings amongst stakeholders.
• Operate as primary liaison to the NRCO customer for a given task.

Minimum Requirements

• At least eight years of related Engineering experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a physics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering field.
• Familiar with DoD and USN Systems Engineering and Acquisition practices.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage complex projects.
• Experience in identifying, evaluating architectural, and technology alternatives and in identifying and quantifying related risks.
• Familiar with standard productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite to support system documentation efforts.
• Experience in producing and presenting briefings for technical, programmatic, and executive level audiences.
• Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance* required at time of hire with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
• U.S. Citizenship Required.

Physical Demands

Light/25 lbs. maximum occasional life/carry of small articles. Some walking or standing may be required.

Travel

20-25% as determined by mission requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s of Science and/or Masters desired in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Salary Range

$119,000.00 - $180,000.00
