Department Information
Department Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Plans and runs programs, events, and services that engage andsupport parents and families on both the Kennesaw and Mariettacampuses, with special attention to building strong ties withfamilies connected to the Marietta campus.
  2. Manages the Owl Family Hub to enhance communication withparents, families, and student supporters by sharing personalizednewsletters, campus updates, student progress, and financialinformation.
  3. Gives presentations to promote Parent & Family programs andinitiatives.
  4. Handles daily administrative tasks, including processingpurchase requests and reimbursements, as needed.
  5. Manages the department¿s Pcard, cash, and credit card inaccordance with university policies

Job Summary

Develops, organizes and implements comprehensive programs in theassigned college, department and/or unit. Responsible forpreparing and organizing programs and activities. Promotesprograms internal and external to the university and evaluateseffectiveness. Ensures programs comply with university andUSG policies and procedures.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in related field

Required Experience

Three (3) years of related work experience

Preferred Educational Qualifications

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in a related field

Preferred Experience

Previous experience managing large-scale programs and events
