North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking a Program Manager - Operations (PMO) to lead turn-key telecom construction programs across Washington state. You will drive strategic success, empower cross-functional teams, and strengthen client relationships from ground-breaking to close-out.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in telecom/program management, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Project/Smartsheet. A bachelor’s is required; PMP is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of operational or program management experience in telecommunications, utility infrastructure, or outside plant construction.
• Ability to lead cross-functional field and management teams and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of construction prints, engineering schematics, fiber deployment specs, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency with scheduling/tracking tools (MS Project, Smartsheet) and core productivity software.
• Bachelor’s degree; PMP certification is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Program Excellence: Direct the end-to-end execution of complex OSP telecom construction programs, including fiber deployments, network builds, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Lead Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the strategic liaison for key clients, delivering transparent status updates, managing scope, and resolving complex challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Deliver Customized Client Solutions: Take full ownership of finding tailored answers for our clients, recognizing that every project and program carries unique requirements, constraints, and goals.
• Master Financial Performance: Direct program budgets, forecasting, and profitability goals while ensuring timely milestone billing and efficient resource management.
• Empower Field & Office Teams: Partner closely with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and subcontractors to streamline daily workflows and remove operational roadblocks.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safety-first culture by enforcing strict adherence to OSHA regulations, North Sky safety standards, and local/federal permitting requirements across all job sites.
• Optimize Operational Workflows: Continuous improvement is in our DNA, you will refine project tracking, risk management, and close-out processes to elevate operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need

Proven Background:

5+ years of operational or program management experience in telecommunications, utility infrastructure, or outside plant (OSP) construction.

Dynamic Leadership & Adaptability:

Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional field and management teams, adapt strategies to suit unique program needs, navigate tight deadlines, and resolve field operations challenges effectively.

Technical & Industry Expertise:

Strong understanding of construction prints, engineering schematics, fiber deployment specs, and municipal permitting processes.

Tech Savvy:

High proficiency with scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and core productivity software (MS Excel, Google Workspace).

Education & Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent hands-on industry experience). PMP certification is a plus.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record; ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.

The wage range for Program Manager Operations is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00.
