Job summary

Fremont Hospital is seeking a Program Manager of Outpatient Services to lead the day-to-day operations of partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and chemical dependency programs. You will supervise therapists and staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and superior patient care.

You will coordinate patient care, assessments and discharge planning while collaborating with physicians and hospital leadership to maintain high clinical standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in mental health/behavioral sciences or equivalent combos of education and experience.
  • Extensive psychiatric/mental health field experience including a lead/managerial capacity.
  • State licensure in Mental Health (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, LP).
  • CPR with AED certification current; CPI training within 90 days of employment; know JCAHO/CMS, OSHA, and regulatory requirements.

We are currently hiring a full time Program Manager of Outpatient Services for Fremont Hospital!

The Program Manager of Outpatient Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and chemical dependency intensive outpatient programs. Working collaboratively with the Medical Directors, the Administrative Director, and Hospital Leadership, they will provide leadership and direct supervision to therapists and other skilled technical employees. The Program Manager will ensure accountability and stewardship of department resources while overseeing clinical interventions, crisis management, and maintaining a personal caseload. They will coordinate patient care, including assessments, discharge planning, and collaboration with other healthcare providers. The Program Manager will analyze and resolve problems, interpret policies, and demonstrate solid subject matter expertise. They will exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. They will work in concert with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure the effective delivery of patient care.

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree (doctorate preferred) in mental health/behavioral sciences field; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

Experience: Extensive experience in psychiatric/mental health field including in a lead/managerial capacity.

Licensure: Appropriate State Licensure in Mental Health (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, LP).

Additional Requirements: CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire. You may successfully complete the Fremont Hospital’s non-violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures. Must have thorough knowledge of JCAHO/CMS, OSHA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
