Job summary

LLE Education Group is seeking a Program Manager to lead a child-centered program at Merit School of Leeland Station in Virginia. The role emphasizes administrative leadership, staff guidance, and collaboration with families to maintain program quality.

You will oversee a blend of preschool and school-age activities, ensuring a welcoming environment while coordinating with center leadership, educators, and families. This position requires travel locally and adherence to licensing standards.

Qualifications

• AA/AS in Early Childhood Education is required; BS/BA preferred.
• Minimum of 45 credits in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a preschool and/or school age environment.
• At least two years of classroom teaching or childcare experience.
• Ability to travel locally with some evenings/weekends.
• Virginia Pre-Service Training and VA licensing standards required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership of the program and staff.
• Ensure high-quality, child-centered, family-friendly program operations.
• Communicate effectively with families, staff and children.
• Conduct daily observations and classroom assessments; support curriculum and behavior management.
• Collaborate with Center leadership and participate in trainings and workshops.
• Support center director in development and quality assurance.

What You Bring…

Compensation…

The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00- $20.00 per hour.

The pay range listed is what we in good faith anticipate offering for this job position.
Actual compensation within this range will be determined by several factors, including a candidate’s experience, education and training, certifications, geographic location and other relevant organization and business factors.

Possesses an advanced ability to provide overall supervision and guidance of staff.

Becomes a resource and role model to staff regarding curriculum, behavior, classroom management techniques, etc.

Communicates professionally with staff, families and children.

Conducts daily program observations and assessments.

Assists with classroom coverage as needed.

Abilities to collaborate and communicate effectively with Center leadership.

Attends training, workshops, and/or college courses as identified in their individual training plan. This plan will be developed by the Center Director in consultation with the Program Manager and possibly the Educational Specialist.
