Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston, TX is seeking a Program Manager responsible for personnel, operational and financial management of assigned program(s) to ensure delivery of competent, compassionate clinical care and advancement of research and clinical education.

You will supervise activities, coordinate with campus departments, and identify funding sources while ensuring contracts compliance and cost-effective services. Advanced degree and grant writing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 5 years of program management experience.
• Advanced degree in basic science and aging biology experience preferred.
• Grant writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations and budget management.
• Provide leadership and promote teamwork.
• Coordinate with campus departments and external groups to develop plans and budgets.
• Lead interdepartmental efforts to enhance an integrated system of care.
• Identify funding sources and monitor budgets for cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and evaluate services.
