Job summary

Skydio seeks a program manager to lead major commercial drone deployments, owning rollout planning, operational handoff, and stabilization for customers moving from one-off drone uses to recurring programs across multiple sites.

The role spans piloted operations, dock-based remote operations, aviation compliance, training, maintenance, and feedback to Product and Engineering, sitting at the intersection of autonomous drones and real customer workflows.

Qualifications

• Program management experience with technical deployments, aviation, robotics, or complex field operations.
• Ability to coordinate customers, operators, safety leads, and internal technical teams.
• Comfort writing new playbooks for programs that do not yet have a standard pattern.
• Judgment around remote operations, docked drones, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute major commercial drone deployments from pilot through scaled rollout.
• Build operating procedures, safety inputs, and support plans with customer teams.
• Manage deployment risks across hardware, software, operations, and compliance.
• Bring field lessons back to product and engineering for future platform improvements.
