Winchester Ammunition is seeking a Program Manager – M&I in Independence, MO to lead and coordinate engineering programs that support production, modernization and continuous improvement in an ammunition manufacturing environment.

The role ensures programs are safe, on schedule, within budget and meet performance standards aligned with DoD and Winchester requirements. Travel <10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree; engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in project or program management.
• Demonstrated leadership and communications skills.
• Superior analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Experience in ammunition manufacturing preferred.
• Some travel required, less than 10%.

Responsabilités

• Direct all program activities from startup to completion to achieve sales, profit and on‑time delivery.
• Monitor projects and oversee project managers to meet goals.
• Devise new programs that support the organization’s objectives.
• Develop budgets and plans for programs, ensure cost, quality and schedule performance.
• Ongoing evaluation and assessment of programs’ performance and progress.
• Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals.
• Interpret and manage programs to ensure compliance with customer contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present reports and presentations to internal and external customers as needed.
