Stars Behavioral Health Group in Victorville, CA is hiring a Licensed Program Manager for the High Desert Crisis Walk-In Center. You will lead day-to-day operations and oversee Recovery Counselors, Peer Counselors, Household Coaches and Resource Specialists in a 24/7 crisis setting.

This role ensures case management, counseling activities, and rehabilitation groups are delivered in compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Licensing or eligibility in relevant clinical field preferred.
• Minimum two years supervisory and direct service experience.

Responsibilities

• This position has primary responsibility for implementing, directing, and supervising the Recovery Counselors, Peer Counselors, Household Coaches and Resource Specialists providing case management, counseling and rehabilitation groups.
• Supports Clinical Supervisor and shall be on-site to manage program components and ensure regulatory compliance.
• The Program Manager shall continue operations during any absence of the Administrator.

What You Bring to SBHG (Qualifications):

• Education & Licensure: Master's degree in social work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university. Or Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• California Registered Intern Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage, Family and Child Counselor (LMFT) preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting.
• Safety & Compliance: Must have attained the age of 18 years of age

How you will make a difference:

This position has primary responsibility for implementing, directing, and supervising the Recovery Counselors, Peer Counselors, Household Coaches and Resource Specialists who provide case management, counseling, and rehabilitation and activity groups. Supports Clinical Supervisor, as needed. The Program Manager shall be on the premises the number of hours necessary to manage and administer the program component of the facility in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Program Manager shall continue operations and carry out Administrator responsibilities during any absence of the Administrator.

Division/Program Overview:

• Program: The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours
• Population Served: All age groups - children, adolescents, adults, and older adults - who need immediate access to crisis mental health services.
• Facility & Setting: The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting
• Clinical Services: Rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention, the center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization
• Length of Stay: stay of up to 23 hours
• Skills & Transition: Individuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.
