Job description

At Expedia Group, we help travelers explore the world, one journey at a time. As a global travel company powered by passionate people, trusted partnerships, and leading technology, we connect travelers, partners, and advertisers through our consumer brands, B2B network, and travel advertising business.

Here, you'll do meaningful work that helps millions of people discover, book, and experience travel with more ease, confidence, and joy. Our five Behaviors-Traveler First, Think Big, Operate with Excellence, Ownership Mindset, and Succeed Together-help foster a supportive environment where people can grow their careers and have the flexibility, benefits, and support to do their best work. Join us and build for travelers everywhere.

The Information Technology (IT) team enables EG with productivity tools, support operations, corporate networking, hybrid data centers, network operations center/site reliability, and IT Service Management. The TPM function with IT drives end-to-end delivery for cross-functional technical programs from idea to launch so the business gets predictable, measurable outcomes. Leveraging a blend of agile and traditional methodologies, this team enables clarity, accountability, and execution through structured planning, well-defined scope and success metrics, disciplined risk and dependency management, and transparent communication with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs from planning through delivery, coordinating interdependencies, milestones, risks, and outcomes across multiple teams or domains.
  • Translate strategic objectives into executable program plans, establish clear success measures, and maintain alignment among technical and business stakeholders.
  • Drive operational reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement by using data, program metrics, and stakeholder feedback to improve delivery outcomes.
  • Manage ambiguity across interconnected initiatives, identify dependencies and trade-offs, and ensure decisions support broader organizational priorities.
  • Build trusted partnerships with engineering, product, operations, and other functional teams while communicating program status, risks, and recommendations clearly.
  • Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve program outcomes, while applying familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience managing complex programs, initiatives, or portfolios involving multiple teams, workstreams, or organizational stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ownership of program execution across a domain or interconnected set of initiatives, including planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery measurement.
  • Experience developing program strategies, operating mechanisms, governance processes, and data-informed reporting for technical or cross-functional work.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills in ambiguous and changing environments.
Preferred qualifications:
  • This role will support the AI & Automations and Workplace Tech teams, including IT Collaboration, Portfolio, and Design and Learning tools.
  • Experience with Workplace/End-User Productivity programs (endpoints, devices, SaaS lifecycle: migration, adoption, and deprecation).
  • Track record of driving process improvement: identifying bottlenecks, re-using patterns, and simplifying workflows across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience applying a whole-systems approach (people, process, technology, structure) to analyze issues and design solutions.
  • Familiarity with the product development lifecycle, from idea to launch, and improving product performance based on data.
  • Ability to build stakeholder trust, help customers explore broader business challenges, and connect program work to business objectives.
  • Experience compiling and analyzing data on process changes to demonstrate impact and inform decisions.
  • Demonstrated strength in crafting and improving functional materials (policies, procedures, guidelines, presentations) and tailoring narratives for different audiences.
  • Habit of actively seeking and incorporating feedback, anticipating concerns, and refining deliverables proactively.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
