Amazon is seeking a Program Manager I for INTL Physical Security Innovation Solutions to drive end-to-end delivery of security projects across the international network. You will work with site security teams, vendors and stakeholders to plan, fund, deploy and hand over initiatives on time and within scope.

You will support senior PMs on complex programs, track actions and dependencies, prepare SOWs and requirements, and manage funding approvals through to sign-off.

Program Manager I, INTL Physical Security Innovation Solutions

Amazon's Worldwide Physical Security team is looking for a Program Manager to help deliver physical security projects across our international network. Working within the team, you will own the day-to-day delivery of assigned projects end-to-end. Coordinating with site security teams, vendors and stakeholders to plan work, manage funding and approvals, track delivery and keep projects on time, on budget and to standard. It is a hands‑on delivery role for someone early in their program‑management career who enjoys turning plans into delivered outcomes in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.

Key job responsibilities

• • Own the end-to-end delivery of physical security projects across assigned sites and programs — from intake and funding preparation through deployment and handover.
• • Support the team's senior program managers on their larger, more complex initiatives — tracking actions, chasing dependencies and helping keep delivery moving.
• • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including statements of work, responsibility matrices and requirements.
• • Support capital funding requests and manage the approvals workflow through to sign‑off, tracking spend against approved funding, flagging variances and keeping stakeholders informed.
• • Work directly with vendors and installers to schedule works, monitor progress and confirm delivery meets the agreed scope, standards and quality bar.
• • Coordinate with site security teams and cross‑functional partners to align on requirements, dependencies and timelines, escalating issues appropriately.
• • Track project milestones and risks, driving early resolution or ensuring a clean hand‑off to the right owner, and report accurate status and metrics into regular business reviews.
• • Support proof‑of‑concept and pilot activity for new physical security technologies, gathering data and documenting outcomes.
• • Ensure solutions are delivered in line with Amazon physical security standards and relevant regulatory, legal and safety requirements.
• • Contribute to team process improvements — optimising the templates, trackers and workflows the team relies on to deliver.

A day in the life

You start your morning reviewing progress across your program and catching up with partners on solutions being validated across the worldwide network. Mid‑morning you join a working session with field security teams and stakeholders to define the problem behind an upcoming initiative and shape the requirements for a pilot, working through how a solution will integrate into live operations without slowing throughput. After lunch, you prepare a capital funding request for a program, pull together data from a recent proof‑of‑concept to strengthen the business case, and update your senior PM on key risks. Later you coordinate with a partner on a deployment timeline and capture the lessons from a completed pilot to inform the next rollout. Throughout it all, you balance careful planning with hands‑on execution, moving solutions from pilot to network‑wide reality.

The Worldwide Physical Security Innovation Solutions team develops security solutions across Amazon's network. We start from the problem, understanding our customers and the risks they face. We then develop, validate and scale solutions that remove manual security processes and let the network operate securely and efficiently. We take ideas from proof‑of‑concept through to fully‑realized network‑wide deployment solutions. We partner with field security teams, operations, and technology partners to prove what works and roll it out at scale. This role works alongside senior program managers and cross‑functional partners to turn physical security innovation into reality across the Amazon network.
