Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.
  • Direct experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize enterprise-approved Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance program management execution.
  • 1+ years' experience leading teams made up of 3+ cross functional team members.
  • Experience with evaluating RFPs/quotes, preparing proposals and/or quotes, and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Security Clearance.
  • PMI PMP Certification preferred but not required; may substitute education/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all programmatic aspects of multiple assigned projects, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
  • Track and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.
  • Supervise program and project staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
  • Participate in business resource planning and tracking with other corporate entities.
  • Formulate and lead a team to fulfill program requirements.
  • Identify, track, and resolve program issues and problems.
  • Manage program risks and opportunities by identifying, mitigating, tracking, and managing them.
  • Interface on project/program status and develop proposals.
  • Conduct research and fact-finding for project/program needs.
  • Coordinate audits and negotiate with project/program stakeholders to ensure initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Support the Program Director and Business Operations in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Business Area.
