Job summary

Partnership HealthPlan of California seeks a Program Manager I to develop, implement, and improve assigned programs. This role oversees day-to-day duties, data tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communications while coordinating meetings, webinars, and events.

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant program management experience required.
• In lieu of degree, a minimum of three years of relevant experience including two years in program management will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day duties of assigned program(s); including data entry, tracking, and reporting.
• Oversees program email inbox and ensures items are handled in a timely manner.
• Oversees completion of invoice review and payment through established processes.
• Monitors system level reports developed for programs.
• Summarizes observations and conclusions to make recommendations to leadership.
• Attends program meetings and follows up with stakeholders on deliverables and action items.
• Plans, coordinates and facilitates events, conferences, and webinars.
• Develops and publishes agendas, meeting minutes, and necessary documentation.
• Coordinates, facilitates and leads both internal and external meetings.
• Develops and publishes communication/updates to program stakeholders.
• Responsible for the development of stakeholder reports on defined schedule.
• Communicates program outcomes and potential risks to all levels of leadership.
• Responsible for program evaluation and continuous improvement activities.
• Responsible for the successful implementation of new and assigned programs and their associated processes.
• Participates in the design, implementation, and/or expansion of strategic programs and departmental initiatives.
• Utilizes established software, tools, and resources needed for program execution and oversight
• Utilizes online collaboration applications.
• Leads user demos, trainings and setup as assigned
• Maintains documentation per department specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

To develop, implement, improve, and manage assigned programs. The Program Manager I isresponsible for the overall success for the assigned program(s) and their role extends beyondcompletion of individual tasks. Programs are ongoing, which may include aligned projects andrequires strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts after program startup.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and at least one (1) year of relevant programmanagement experience required. In lieu of degree, a minimum ofthree (3) years of relevant experience to include a minimum of two (2)years program management experience will be considered.

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interpret andarticulate program requirements to involved stakeholders. Exceptionalinterpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to establish andmaintain effective working relationships across all levels within theorganization. Detail-oriented. Strong organization skills with ability toprioritize assignments and manage time effectively. Strong decisionmaking, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Able to workunder pressure and meet critical deadlines in a fast-movingenvironment. Adaptable to a continuous changing environment.Working knowledge of project/program management methodologiesrequired. Proficient experience in use of various computer systemsoftware including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio,and PowerPoint. Valid California driver’s license and proof of currentautomobile insurance compliant with Partnership policy are required tooperate a vehicle and travel for company business.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

More than 50% of work time is spent using a desktop computer. Whennecessary, the ability to lift, carry, or move objects of varying size,weighing up to 10 lbs.

HIRING RANGE:

$88,154.59 - $110,193.23
