Job summary

Latitude AI, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, is building autonomous vehicle logistics support as part of its fleet operations. The Fleet Logistics Team focuses on Bailment, Insurance, Shipping, and Asset Sign-out to maintain a stable vehicle fleet for testing and development across Ford and Latitude assets.

You will work with Ford coordinators and Mission Control to manage acquisitions, insurance, and asset movement, ensuring timely reporting and compliant processes in a dynamic startup-like

Meet The Team

The team you will be joining is the Fleet Logistics Team, where the scope of work is to handle vehicle logistics relations between Latitude AI (Wholly Owned Subsidiary) and Ford. This scope of work includes: Bailment (corporate leasing), Insurance, Shipping, Vehicle purchasing, and Vehicle Sign-out. This will require asset management and detail orientation to ensure that our vehicles are managed, tracked and reported to Ford timely and accurately. In process, will require cross-organization communication with Ford to arrange acquisition and disposition of assets; as well as accurate usage reporting of Ford Assets. The goal of this team is to ensure a stable fleet of vehicles for Latitude AI, ensuring the organization can keep progressing with mission and testing demands.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Bailment with Ford by working with Ford Coordinators and Mission Control for vehicle acquisitions and paperwork on our current vehicle budget or necessary acquisitions
• Manage insurance policies for internal and external fleets run by Latitude, ensuring policies remain active and reporting any incidents to the insurance providers
• Support vehicle shipping by utilizing local or Ford programs to arrange shipment or movement of Latitude assets between sites or missions
• Support vehicle purchasing by assisting in sourcing, quoting, and arranging the purchase of assets for Latitude needs--oops-wrong--
• Manage Latitude’s internal Vehicle Sign Out Program ensuring a streamlined and efficient experience during asset check out or acquisition of a new asset to operate.
• Support vehicle usage reporting by running a quarterly, or as needed, report to provide to Mission Control for asset usage

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree with two years of employment experience or a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with four years of employment experience is required.
• Must have at least 2 years of operational or logistics management experience.
• High organizational ability, managing large quantities of assets and documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, working internally and externally with multiple organizations
• Flexible and adaptable to organizational changes, requirements are always in motion and manager needs to be able to adjust to demand

The expected base salary range for this full-time position in California is $74,560 - $111,840 USD. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Latitude employees are also eligible to participate in Latitude’s annual bonus programs, equity compensation, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
