Job summary

Aceolution is seeking an experienced Program Manager – Hardware Engineering to lead development of Android XR Glasses hardware platforms.   • Experience in Consumer Electronics Hardware development.
  • Strong understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and Phase-Gate Processes.
  • Experience managing Hardware NPI and production builds.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of Android XR glasses hardware platforms, driving program execution and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to design, build, validate, and launch hardware solutions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate development risks to achieve milestones, costs, and manufacturability goals.
  • Drive development activities through all phase-gate reviews and ensure alignment across engineering and operations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and program roadmaps.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and milestones to senior leadership.
  • Lead resolution of critical technical and program-related issues.
  • Collaborate with development partners, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to manage builds, schedules, budgets, and performance.
  • Continuously improve development processes to increase efficiency and product quality.
  • Manage overall program budgets and ensure effective resource utilization.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with JDM/OEM partners for long-term development initiatives.
  • Support hardware NPI activities from prototype through mass production.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Hardware Engineering to lead the development and execution of next-generation Android XR Glasses Hardware Platforms. The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, operations, and external manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality consumer hardware products on schedule and within budget.

This role requires strong expertise in hardware program management, new product introduction (NPI), product development lifecycle, phase-gate processes, stakeholder management, and consumer electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end development of Android XR glasses hardware platforms, driving overall program execution and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to design, build, validate, and launch innovative hardware solutions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate development risks to achieve project milestones, cost objectives, and manufacturability goals.
  • Drive product development activities through all phase-gate reviews and ensure alignment across engineering and operations teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in Consumer Electronics Hardware development.
  • Strong understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and Phase-Gate Processes.
  • Experience managing Hardware NPI (New Product Introduction) and production builds.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% based on business requirements.
