Job summary

United Airlines in Chicago, Illinois seeks a Program Manager for GSE and Facility Asset Planning to direct the development and execution of an optimized plan that ensures ground service equipment and facility equipment is in place at all United airports.

You will oversee surplus management, coordinate equipment movements, define standards with engineering, and drive value through continuous system improvements while ensuring SOX inventory accuracy across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Combination of field and staff leadership.
• Capital planning, financial analysis and/or large expenditure budget development and management.
• Minimum 2 years in ground equipment / facility maintenance operations or logistics management.
• Strong business, interpersonal and financial skills.
• Cross organizational planning and functional integration.
• Demonstrated ability in stakeholder inclusion and consensus building.
• Team building and capability to lead technical staff in business and financial disciplines.
• Process development and improvement skills.
• Strong communication skill, both written and verbal
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

• Manages optimal levels of surplus equipment and coordinates movement, storage, and disposal.
