Responsibilities

• Leads complex or midsize projects and identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels. Develops and manages department expense budget and monitors expenses against forecast.
• Presents findings and makes recommendations to management; performs analysis on complex data models and presents recommendations.
• Applies broad expertise to projects in multiple disciplines such as civil, electrical, construction management with high knowledge and ability.
• Compiles and interprets internal drawings and data for RFPs and contract processes; renegotiates contract scope as needed.
• Partners with Project Managers to establish planning/schedule dates for construction and communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Provides guidance around regulatory and compliance environment and conducts in-depth QA final reviews and contract drafts.

Department Overview

Transmission & Substation (T&S) is responsible for the maintenance and construction of the Electric Transmission system, Project and Construction, Generation Interconnections, Work and Resource Management, Compliance and Temporary Generation departments. T&S also executes high-risk maintenanceand construction activities to improve publicsafety and operation of the grid.

Position Summary

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively.This position will support innovation to update and/or identify new technologies, tools, techniques & methodologies, processes, standards, or other approaches to help improve the safety, risk reduction, quality, cost efficiency, or employee morale of the Undergrounding program.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below,but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable salary range is:

• Annual Minimum: $123,000
• Annual Maximum: $197,000

Job Responsibilities

Regularly monitors expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances.Communicates project status to all stakeholders. Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues.
• Presents findings and makes recommendations to management. Performs analysis on complex data models requiring customized reports and data and presents recommendations.
• Applies broad expertise to work on projects in multiple disciplines such as civil, electrical, construction management with a high degree of knowledge and ability.
• Compiles and interprets internal drawings and relevant data for the RFP and contract processes, renegotiates spoils contract scope with contractor when needed.
• Partners with Project Managers to establish planning/schedule dates for construction to establish best locations for yard development.Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences using a variety of media.
• Provides others with guidance around complex industry regulatory and compliance environment and considerations.Performs in-depth quality assurance final reviews and contract drafts
