We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Content Manager to support executing content strategies for tier one AWS events, including the Global AWS Summit series. Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Content Manager to support executing content strategies for tier one AWS events, including the Global AWS Summit series. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across various teams and regions. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a passion for delivering high-quality content experiences. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with diverse teams across different time zones.

Key job responsibilities

Content Operations

  • Oversee session metadata management and review processes, aligning closely with global field marketing teams to ensure on-time deliverables
  • Assist in maintaining the Global Summit session repository (library) of 1,500+ session assets, including owning change management workflows
  • Help organize and schedule key milestone meetings (kickoff calls, check-ins, content reviews, and debrief calls)
  • Develop best practices and associated documentation for owned workstreams, including playbooks
  • Continuously refine and enhance content operations to deliver exceptional attendee experience.

Content tooling & technology

  • Build and manage a central Airtable base for Global Summit session metadata and performance data
  • Improve and automate process in Airtable to track and simplify workflows
  • Support development and maintenance of session analytics dashboards

Content Measurement And Improvement

  • Assist in gathering and tracking post-event performance metrics across 30+ events
  • Analyze session performance data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and think big about new ideas
  • Engage in continuous learning and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to content operations

We lead the content arm of AWS highest tiered event series, manage complex content operations, and ensure exceptional execution from strategy to delivery.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Airtable, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Event planning experience, including onsite event execution, for large scale conferences (10-25k+ attendees)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
