Job summary

Rocs, Inc. is seeking a capable Program Manager/Coordinator to support Engineering, Research & Technology initiatives in a hybrid Greenbelt, MD setting.

You will coordinate day-to-day activities, manage timelines, and maintain dashboards to keep projects on track. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-management tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Experience in program management, project coordination, research administration, association operations, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with dashboards, databases, project tracking systems, or data management tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively move projects forward.
  • Close attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across engineering, research, and technology programs and initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and competing priorities.
  • Track program performance and maintain reports, dashboards, and project monitoring tools.
  • Support administration and tracking of research projects, contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements.
  • Coordinate communications with members, committees, government agencies, universities, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Support committee and task-force activities and help keep stakeholders aligned on projects.
  • Assist with sustainability, innovation, technology, and industry partnership initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate program data and provide leadership with visibility into project status, milestones, and potential risks.
  • Develop and improve processes, workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives.
