Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Program Manager Emergency Preparedness & Response to lead the organization-wide Emergency Preparedness Program. The role coordinates with local entities and community partners to strengthen disaster readiness and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position is salaried with a comprehensive benefits package and a hybrid work arrangement; travel to OSF facilities may be required. Strong leadership and 5 years of related experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Required: High School/GED and 5 years of related work experience in Emergency Management, Emergency Medical, Fire or Police Service.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Industrial Health, Environmental Health or related field; 2 years in emergency preparedness; leadership experience; ICS/NIMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and develop the Emergency Preparedness Program for OSF HealthCare.
• Serve as a liaison between OSF HealthCare, local entities, and community partners for disaster preparedness.
• Collaborate with OSF committees to ensure regulatory compliance related to emergency preparedness.

Expected pay for this position is $36.04 - $42.40/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

The Program Manager Emergency Preparedness & Response is responsible for planning, coordinating, and developing the Emergency Preparedness Program for OSF HealthCare across the organization. Serves as a liaison between the organization, local entities, and community partners for disaster preparedness. Collaborates with appropriate OSF HealthCare and hospital committees to ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School/GED
• Experience: 5 years of related work experience in Emergency Management, Emergency Medical, Fire, or Police Service

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Industrial Health, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Experience: 2 years of experience in emergency preparedness Experience leading teams
• Other skills/knowledge: Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 300, 700, and 800 Experience using the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
