Job summary

Qualifications

• Develop and update EMS curricula and instructional materials.
• Assess learner needs and outcomes to ensure program effectiveness.

Expected pay for this position is $27.26 - $32.06/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The EMS Educator is responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of EMS education and training.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: 3 years EMS experience
• Licensure/Certifications: Basic EMT License or Paramedic EMT License, OR IL Reg Nurse License OR MI Reg Nurse Lead Instructor

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Associates Degree
• Experience: Previous teaching experience
• Licensure/Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR, ITLS Instructor
