Job summary

Oracle Corporation is seeking a Program Manager, Design & Research Operations to help our Experience Design organization scale effectively. You will lead a small Design & Research Operations team and oversee programs spanning Design, Research, and Product.

In this role you will partner with Design and Research leaders to identify operational needs, improve ways of working, and deliver programs that support the broader organization.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of management experience, including coaching and developing a team.
• 5+ years of focused Research Operations experience; experience across both Research Operations and Design Operations is valuable.
• Strong program management and operations experience in a product, design, research, or technology organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Design & Research Operations team and drive defined strategic programs across Design, Research, and Product.
• Identify operational needs with Design and Research leaders and deliver programs that support the broader organization.
• Partner with stakeholders to adopt AI-enabled tools and workflows that reduce friction and improve access to insights.
• Communicate progress, risks, results, and recommendations to project teams and senior leaders.

Research Operations experience is especially important. Experience spanning both Research Operations and Design Operations is highly valued. You’ll partner with Design and Research leaders to identify operational needs, improve ways of working, and deliver programs that support the broader organization.

As our organization becomes increasingly AI-enabled, you’ll help teams adopt practical tools and workflows that reduce friction, improve access to insights, and support better collaboration.

What we’re looking for

• 8–10 years of management experience, including managing, coaching, and developing a team.
• 5+ years of focused Research Operations experience; experience across both Research Operations and Design Operations is especially valuable.
• Strong program management and operations experience in a product, design, research, or technology organization.
• An MBA or equivalent experience.
• Experience identifying high-impact opportunities and taking programs from definition through execution.
• A strong understanding of Design and Research workflows, tools, and operational needs.
• Experience building processes and programs that work across a large or complex organization.
• The ability to communicate clearly with project teams and senior leaders, including presenting progress, risks, results, and recommendations.
• Experience improving collaboration, documentation, and knowledge sharing across functions.
• Expertise in AI-enabled ways of working and sound judgment about where new tools can improve team effectiveness.
• The ability to move between organizational strategy, team leadership, and hands-on problem solving.
