Job summary

Tufts University is seeking a Program Operations Manager for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Phoenix Campus. This hybrid role oversees budget, personnel, and facilities, advising senior program leadership to optimize operations across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include reporting, staff supervision, data analysis, and coordinating onsite lab sessions, events, and IT services. Requires 5–7 years in higher education administration and a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Advise the Program Director, Directors, and Faculty regarding the strategic plan, operations, budget, personnel, and facilities.
  • Provide assistance to the Program Director in problem-solving, project planning and management of the program.
  • Develop financial, personnel and facilities reports for internal and external bodies, including external accrediting bodies.
  • Oversee and supervise work of DPT Program Administrative staff including Program Administrator, Program Coordinators, and/or Program Assistants, all hybrid positions.
  • Prepare spreadsheets/reports/surveys for data analysis and monitoring of all financial resources, including operations, personnel, equipment, and revenue.
  • In conjunction with program leadership and faculty, plan, manage and direct the onsite lab intensive sessions, onsite and virtual events, and onsite graduation reception for the DPT Program, including construction/deconstruction of labs and coordination of moving equipment.
  • Plan, manage and direct the information and instructional technology in the DPT Program. Coordinate contracts for IT, software, etc. annually. Plan and support the DPT Program website and coordinate with the Marketing department.

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is dedicated to advancing the field of physical therapy through excellence in education, research, and clinical innovation. This position is for the DPT program based in Phoenix, AZ. This is a hybrid position. Applicants must be within commuting distance to the Tufts University Phoenix campus as routine visits will be required. What You'll Do

Pay Range

Minimum $81,200.00, Midpoint $101,600.00, Maximum $120,900.00

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
