Abode has a growing line of business for utilities and government agencies throughout New England to help accelerate the adoption of decarbonization measures (such as air-source heat pumps) by providing outreach, education, consultations, and technical assistance to contractors, homeowners, community advocates, and other stakeholders. Abode is piloting and scalingcutting-edgedecarbonization programs that require understanding and navigating the interests of multiple stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in the energy efficiency industry and a strong background in program management to play arole in scaling innovative programs that help realize the climate impacts of decarbonization in the residential building sector.
The Program Manager (“PM”) will report to theSenior ProgramManagerand work closely with Abode’s decarbonization team. The PM will provide day-to-day management of one or more programs, overseeing operations, managing staff, coordinating with partners, and ensuring thetimelyachievement of programobjectives. The PM will play a critical role in helping to extract lessons and solutions from the work done to solve day-to-day issues.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a total compensation targeted between $85,000and $110,000, depending on relevant skills and experience.The PM willwork primarilyoutof the employee’s home office or attend meetings as needed in Abode’s Concord MA office or offices of partners and stakeholders.
