CampusGuard, a Nelnet Company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead PCI DSS, GLBA and related compliance initiatives for higher education and allied sectors. You will guide governance, risk & control activities, coordinate stakeholders across IT, security, finance and operations, and deliver scalable, right-sized compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combo of education and experience.
• 5+ years in program/project management, IT compliance, information security, or IT governance.
• End-to-end ownership of a compliance or information security program with stakeholder management at executive level.
• Working knowledge of at least one major framework (e.g., PCI DSS, GLBA).
• Ability to teach technical concepts to non-technical audiences and manage multiple engagements.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and proficient with common PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Assess a customer's current compliance posture and design a scalable program.
• Author foundational artifacts and establish inventories, scopes, and data flow docs.
• Define metrics and cadence for leadership to judge program health.
• Lead planning and delivery of PCI DSS/GLBA initiatives with a hybrid approach.
• Develop schedules, RACI matrices, risk logs, and coordinate stakeholders across a decentralized institution.
• Own the annual compliance lifecycle and serve as the primary client contact.
• Train and coach customer staff to operate the program independently.
• Develop customer-facing playbooks, runbooks, and templates for long-term use.
• Support risk reviews, incident response, and governance materials.
