We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to join Ready on our P3 team to manage our customer implementations and success.This individual will serve as a key partner to government stakeholders, ensuring complex, multi-stakeholder projects are delivered seamlessly while unlocking long-term partnerships across verticals like broadband, transportation, energy, and water infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a mix of public sector savvy, technical fluency, and a growth mindset—leveraging AI tools to scale impact, track progress, and turn customers into champions.
About Your Role At Ready ️
- Lead a customer implementation and success team, working with customers to ensure that projects are executed on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.
- Guide state and local partners through program implementation—turning mandates into milestones and challenges into opportunities.
- Represent the customer needs to cross-functional contributors within Ready including software engineers, designers, product managers, and policy experts.
- Use AI-driven tooling to manage documentation, track project health, and create transparency across stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, enabling Ready to expand horizontally across state programs beyond broadband.
- Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure our platform evolves with real-world needs and policy shifts.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant federal and state policy developments; distill insights to drive proactive engagement.
- Identify opportunities for cross-agency growth in areas like water, energy, transportation, and public safety.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members and support the efficient flow of information and expertise throughout the organization.
- Represent Ready at key convenings, public sector forums, and strategic meetings.
A Bit About You
- Deep familiarity with how federal funding flows through state and local government—experience in broadband, infrastructure, or related programs is a plus.
- Experience implementing technical solutions with or within government (e.g., GovTech, civic tech, federal grant programs).
- Ability to quickly learn federal policy frameworks and advise internal teams and clients accordingly.
- Technically fluent—you’re comfortable adopting new tools quickly (e.g., Slack, Linear, Notion, AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT) and using them to drive efficiency, collaboration, and insight.
- Proven track record managing or mentoring client-facing teams in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills—especially in politically complex environments.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate both immediate needs and longer-term opportunities.
- Self-starter who thrives on ownership and autonomy, but collaborates well across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, business, technology, communications, or a related field. A master's degree is a big plus.
- Nice to have: Project management experience and/or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum).
