Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager, Program Management in Bentonville, AR to lead the internal General Contractor program, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project readiness, compliance, and efficient execution.

The role oversees pre-award activities across Procurement, Contracts, and Compliance, driving process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost, while promoting accountability and stakeholder alignment across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR 4 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage the internal General Contractor program to support business objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between enterprise teams and field operations.
• Coordinate pre-award activities across Special Projects, Procurement, Contracts, and Compliance.
• Resolve operational barriers affecting project readiness, timelines, and execution.
• Ensure completion of governance, documentation, and administrative milestones.
• Support vendor onboarding, risk mitigation, and contract readiness.
• Develop and implement new processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key dependencies to stakeholders.
• Apply standardized project management, governance, and performance tracking practices across programs.
