Job summary

Ampact seeks a Program Manager to ensure successful delivery of AmeriCorps programs by supporting members, engaging partner sites, and driving program outcomes. The role requires residency in Mid Hudson or Nassau County and involves travel and strong collaboration with internal teams.

You will manage cohorts, monitor hours and performance, and lead training sessions while ensuring compliance with program regulations.

Qualifications

3+ years of program management or implementation experience in a nonprofit setting.
Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; able to mediate conflict and exercise sound judgment.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Organized, goal-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Professional communicator with strong listening, public speaking (preferred), and writing skills.
Results-driven, adaptable, and solution-focused.
High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

Responsibilities

Provide regular support, feedback, and coaching to ensure a positive and productive service experience for a cohort of AmeriCorps members.
Monitor member performance, service hours, and professional growth; address concerns promptly and professionally.
Facilitate and deliver member training sessions and onboarding activities.
Collaborate with Internal Coaches/Site Supervisors and Coaching Specialists/Content Experts to manage member supervision, development, and performance.
