Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a role that serves as the operational backbone of the Center of Excellence (COE) team. You will govern data quality, oversee procurement standards, and drive continuous improvement across a large facilities management account, collaborating with field teams to foster adoption and accountability.

The ideal candidate will analyze data trends, build dashboards, and provide knowledge transfer on key systems, while aligning with CBRE RISE values and project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with procurement or CMMS platforms (Coupa, IFM Hub or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of experience.
  • Experience supporting governance programs or compliance tracking in facilities management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scorecards, dashboards and reports for data quality and standards adoption across the account.
  • Collaborate with Transformation Team to identify data quality gaps and improvements.
  • Act as SME for key systems and provide knowledge transfer to teams.
  • Establish purchasing standards and guidelines within Coupa.
  • Review information accuracy for management, clients, and project teams.
  • Explain complex information in straightforward terms.
  • Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
  • Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
  • Provide training to coworkers as needed.

Job description

About the Role:

This role serves as the operational backbone of the Center of Excellence (COE) team, responsible for governance, data quality oversight, procurement standards and continuous improvement programs across a large facilities management account. The position requires someone equally comfortable analyzing data trends and building accountability structures as they are facilitating training and driving adoption with field teams.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and maintain scorecards, dashboards and performance reports that track work order data quality, compliance and standards adoption across the account.
  • Use aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complex complete evaluation and improvement.
  • Partner with the Transformation Team to identify data quality gaps, compliance trends and standards adoption opportunities, translating findings into actionable improvements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for key systems and processes including providing knowledge transfer to teams.
  • Collaborate with personnel from other departments to execute successful project implementation and process improvements.
  • Establish and govern purchasing standards and guidelines within Coupa, including PO management, approval workflows, vendor onboarding support and finance coding alignment in partnership with Procurement and Finance teams.
  • Review the accuracy of information provided and answer requests from management, our clients, and project teams.
  • Adjust project schedules based on info and input from other team members and rectify schedule slippage or other program-related issues.
  • May provide informal help and training to coworkers.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

What You’ll Need:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to present information with ease.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Outlook, MS Project, and intranet/internet; experience with procurement or CMMS platforms (Coupa, IFM Hub or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience supporting governance programs, process documentation or compliance tracking in facilities management or operations preferred.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
