The City of San José is seeking a Program Manager within the Environmental Services Department's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to lead a high-impact program serving 1.4 million residents and 17,000 businesses. You will direct up to four staff, manage consultants, and partner with executive management to deliver complex capital projects.

Key duties include establishing controls, change management, master scheduling, cost reviews, dashboards, and CIP documentation.

Formación

• Five (5) years of directly related experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is required for consideration.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain processes, systems, and tools to enable improved project controls over the life of capital projects.
• Implement and maintain change management processes.
• Manage the preparation and maintenance of the Master Program Schedule.
• Manage the review of project Opinions of Probable Construction Costs.
• Manage the preparation of CIP status reports, including dashboards and KPIs.
• Manage CIP document control systems.
• Implement and maintain value and risk management processes.
• Manage updates to CIP’s Program Execution Plan.
