Position Summary:

The Program Manager of Business Operations and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for managing the project development lifecycle for several key initiatives. The role reports to the Director of Quality and collaborates closely with the Executive Team, who serve as sponsors for key projects. The position partners with senior faculty, administration leadership, and strategy colleagues to develop strategies and annual plans across the enterprise. Additionally, the role works with the Quality & Risk team for the MSO to expand program offerings and achieve a competitive advantage within our service lines.

The Program Manager will drive tactical plans, manage projects from initiation to completion, and provide management with accurate, timely information. This includes opportunity identification, sourcing information, and analysis. Over the coming years, the role will partner with the executive team on transformational plans, overseeing critical projects that influence financial and programmatic outcomes. These projects will require cross-functional task integration, clear business requirements, timelines, and regular status updates.

The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of various complex developmental projects and medium-sized initiatives. Responsibilities include assembling stakeholders, assigning responsibilities, identifying resources, developing schedules, and ensuring timely project completion. The role involves reporting to project sponsors within the PMO, project team, and Executive Team.

The Program Manager will manage meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and action item tracking. The role will also involve working with various reports, extracting data, and identifying trends.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of executive healthcare administration experience required.
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • Understanding of the healthcare business model, especially working with payers, strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills for data extraction and trend analysis strongly preferred.
