Job summary

Optimal Solution Company is seeking a detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of engineering program deliverables in a hybrid in-office setting in California. You will manage part release tracking, material certifications, and timing charts using JIRA and Confluence, while coordinating across engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain detailed tracking of part releases, engineering changes, and material certifications.
• Develop and update program timing charts, status dashboards, and health reports using JIRA and Confluence.
• Identify risks, delays, and dependencies early; communicate impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Create and manage program boards, workflows, and dashboards to monitor engineering deliverables.
• Ensure consistent documentation and process adherence across teams using Confluence pages and templates.
• Coordinate between engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on milestones and deliverables.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, publish action items, and follow up to ensure completion.
• Prepare concise executive summaries, timing updates, and program health metrics for leadership reviews.
• Support data-driven decision-making by maintaining accurate, real-time visibility into project progress.

Program Manager - Body In White Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of engineering program deliverables. The ideal candidate will manage part release tracking, material certification status, engineering timing, and overall program health reporting. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with JIRA and Confluence to maintain accurate and transparent program documentation

Key Responsibilities

Program Tracking & Reporting

• Manage and maintain detailed tracking of part releases, engineering changes, and material certifications.
• Develop and update program timing charts, status dashboards, and health reports using JIRA and Confluence.
• Identify risks, delays, and dependencies early; communicate impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

JIRA & Confluence Administration

• Create and manage program boards, workflows, and dashboards to monitor engineering deliverables.
• Ensure consistent documentation and process adherence across teams using Confluence pages and templates.

Experience Required

3+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.

Experience Preferred

• Experience working in engineering development, automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of Agile or Stage-Gate development processes.
