Job summary

Epitec seeks a Program Manager - Body In White to oversee critical engineering programs in a fast-paced vehicle development environment. You will manage part releases, engineering changes, and material certifications while tracking milestones and program health.

The role requires strong coordination across cross-functional teams, with hands-on use of JIRA and Confluence to drive program execution. Hybrid onsite in Long Beach, CA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in program or project management (minimum 3 years).
• Experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, or product development programs.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and related project management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing project schedules, timing, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Program Tracking & Reporting: track part releases, engineering changes, and material certifications.
• Develop and update program timing plans, dashboards, and status reports.
• Monitor project progress and identify risks, delays, and dependencies.
• Communicate impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Provide accurate, real-time reporting on overall program health.
• JIRA & Confluence Administration: create and manage program boards, workflows, dashboards.
• Maintain program documentation and ensure consistency across teams.
• Support process adherence through Confluence templates and standards.
• Drive visibility and accountability for engineering deliverables.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate activities across engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing.
• Facilitate program reviews, status meetings, and action item tracking.
• Ensure alignment on milestones, deliverables, and project objectives.
• Support issue resolution and execution of program plans.
• Executive & Leadership Reporting: prepare executive summaries and program health metrics.
• Present concise status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support data-driven decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
