Job summary

Emplify Health in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a collaborative Program Manager to support the General Surgery Service Line, with a focus on Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery and Obesity Medicine programs.

This highly visible role partners with clinical leaders and operations to ensure regulatory compliance, drive quality outcomes, and optimize financial performance. It leads MBSAQIP accreditation efforts and guides strategic initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field is required.
• At least 5 years in a healthcare org with 3 years in PM, regulatory compliance, or healthcare leadership.
• Prior experience in bariatric surgery program coordination.
• Experience with clinical registries or quality databases preferred.
• Licensed health care professional as required by regulatory body.
• RN, RD, or other clinical background relevant to bariatric surgery, quality, or perioperative care preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with data analysis, Excel, PowerBI, and SlicerDicer preferred.
• Onsite work in La Crosse, WI required.

Responsibilities

• Understand MBSAQIP accreditation standards and partner with Bariatric Surgery and Obesity Medicine Medical Directors.
• Develop systems for financial analysis, budgeting, dashboards, and benchmarking.
• Conduct ROI analyses for General Surgery initiatives and new staff needs.
• Lead project management and operationalize GHS initiatives for General Surgery.
• Ensure resource utilization, training, accreditation, and licensure data compliance.
• Ensure compliance with MBSAQIP, Joint Commission, and internal policies.
• Support the mission and strategic plan of GHS and departments.
• Foster collaboration across teams and departments.
• Perform market research for new programs and services.
• Pursue ongoing educational opportunities to meet team needs.
