Job summary

Hobbsnews is seeking a Program Manager to lead an aerospace innovation division focused on a major eVTOL project in Southern/Central California. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, schedule, and resource management across all divisions, coordinating with division directors and lead engineers while ensuring safety and milestone adherence.

The role requires substantial experience in large-scale projects, R&D environments, and proficiency with top project management tools.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large multi-team aerospace or R&D programs.
• Proven ability to manage cross-divisional schedules and milestones.
• Hands-on experience in budget planning and resource forecasting.
• Strong communication with project leaders and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the development schedule for the eVTOL project with project leaders and stakeholders.
• Summarize schedules and progress; share results with teams.
• Define targets, milestones, and tasks; adjust plans as needed.
• Suggest resource plans, monitor progress, and adapt as required.
• Collaborate with departments, engineers, and division heads to collect information and address challenges.
• Identify obstacles and propose solutions; implement necessary programs.
• Track project progression and communicate milestones to leaders and stakeholders.
• Manage project budget; forecast and report to management.
• Coordinate workflow with Honda R&D PIC and relevant teams.
