Job description

As a Program Manager, you will oversee product development programs from proposal through production readiness, ensuring delivery against cost, schedule, and performance objectives. This role combines customer engagement, strategic planning, risk management, and cross-functional leadership within a highly technical manufacturing environment.

This organization designs and manufactures highly reliable Radio Frequency electronic and electromechanical solutions used in mission‑critical aerospace and defense applications. The business combines decades of engineering heritage with a forward‑looking approach to innovation and continuous improvement. Engineers are given real ownership over technical direction, product strategy, and customer outcomes. The culture is collaborative, hands‑on, and grounded in long‑term thinking rather than short‑term wins. Teams work closely with customers to solve complex problems that genuinely matter.

Description
  • Lead complex product development programs from customer proposal through qualification, certification, and production transition.
  • Review customer requirements, proposals, and change requests to ensure alignment with technical, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
  • Chair and coordinate cross-functional Integrated Product Teams across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain functions.
  • Act as the primary customer contact for programs status, scope management, issue resolution, and progress reviews.
  • Monitor program performance using established project management tools and metrics.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks to support successful delivery.
  • Drive alignment among internal stakeholders while ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Support new product introduction activities and facilitate a smooth handover into production.
  • Prepare and present program reports, milestones, and performance updates to leadership and customers.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively within technical product development and manufacturing environments.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of delivering results through cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent planning, organization, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eligibility to work with controlled information and meet applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Experience within aerospace, defense, engineering, or highly regulated environments is advantageous.
  • MBA, advanced management qualification, PMP, PMI certification, or equivalent training would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of engineering product development, qualification, or certification processes is preferred.
Job Offer
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Generous annual leave allowance plus paid public holidays.
  • Company-supported retirement savings plan with employer contribution.
  • Education reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
  • Exposure to technically challenging programs and industry-leading projects.
  • Collaborative culture with strong leadership support and career progression potential.
  • Opportunity to make a visible impact on complex, high-value customer programs.
