The University of Houston Small Business Development Ctr in Houston is seeking a program administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of a university department and supervise staff including student workers.
Main duties include planning procedures, monitoring budgets, guiding staff performance, and preparing reports, abstracts and proposals. The role supports grants, policies and regional SBDC operations as needed.

This position will be off campus at the Texas Gulf Coast SBDC Region Office, located at 1455 West Loop South in the Houston Galleria area.
The SBDC Network is funded through cooperative agreements with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), and the State of Texas. The continuation of all SBDC positions is contingent on the continuation of funding from both the SBA and the State of Texas at current levels.
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: No experience required.
