Job summary

KACE is seeking a Program Manager in the Washington, DC area to oversee the contractual program, coordinating with the COR and program managers, and ensuring compliance with FAR 8.405. You will manage personnel, deliverables, and performance metrics while maintaining recruiting networks and cost-effective operations.

Travel is required; you will lead continuous improvement initiatives and produce data-driven dashboards and status updates for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of recent experience in USMS related programs and systems.
  • Strong planning, leadership, operational, and financial management skills.
  • Effective communication skills at all management levels.
  • Ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technology proficiency to manage contract requirements and improve processes.
  • Analytical skills and report writing experience.
  • Multi‑tasking, observant, and anticipate operational needs.
  • Accessible by mobile phone 24/7/365; flexible schedule; travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact with the Government’s COR and establish timely communication.
  • Receive, analyze, and execute orders for work and technical direction issued by the COR.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, deliverables, regulations, and performance expectations.
  • Manage efficient and compliant scheduling of all personnel and maintain recruiting network.
  • Provide rationale narratives aligned with FAR 8.405 and support Task Orders.
  • Monitor staffing levels, turnover, overtime, and output; ensure qualified labor categories.
  • Apply deliverables‑based principles to improve service delivery and contain costs.
  • Oversee quality control reviews, administrative tasks, staffing needs, and performance issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement, leveraging key performance indicators and data‑driven monitoring.
  • Oversee training, program quality, and compliance with governmental and company requirements.
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive information and provide audit defense tools.
  • Collaborate with People Services, IT, Payroll, Billing, and Finance to implement procedural compliance.
  • Ensure virtual dashboards, reports, and status updates for stakeholders.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.

Act as the single point of contact with the Government’s Contract Officer’s Representative (COR) and Program Managers. Work Schedule & Travel

Available via phone and email 8:00A.M. – 5:00P.M. EST, Monday–Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required. Travel required to meetings, conferences, and training.

Security & Physical Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident. Must pass a background investigation, drug screening, and credit check. Physical duties include walking, standing, light lifting, and extensive typing.
