Job summary

Goldbelt Nighthawk is seeking a part-time Program Manager to support a Department of War customer, leading a dispersed team of 30+ personnel. The role includes coordinating SCA-R reviews, tracking metrics, and producing monthly reports.

Qualifications

Summary

NightHawk is looking for a Program Manager for part-time (50 hours per pay period) support of a Department of War customer, leading a widely dispersed team of 30+ personnel.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• The Project Manager will manage a team of Security Control Assessor – Representatives (SCA-Rs) reviewing System Security Plans
• Support the review process, perform tracking and reporting on metrics and deliverables, and assist with business process improvement efforts.
• Generate monthly reports of actions and metrics.
• Assist with eMASS support activities within DCSA.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge

• Maintain expert-level knowledge of all NIST 800-53 Security Controls
• Maintain working knowledge of DoD, DCSA, and NIST RMF guidance and policies
• Build an internal capability that is increasingly risk-based and adaptive
• Actively observe and understand current business practices
• Develop approaches for promoting lessons learned and communication of outcomes
• Propose means or methods of streamlining activities
• Outline functional areas of improvement, propose viable solutions, and determine technical methodologies
• Establish a tracking mechanism for action items and maintain the tracker
• Provide a monthly status report, containing an Executive Summary, information on significant activities, progress report, status of funding and personnel, lessons learned (when applicable)
• As requested by the COR, organize meetings in support of this effort: Plan the meeting, including coordinating schedules of attendees, sending out “save the dates” via e-mail (if necessary), meeting invitations, agenda, and any documents necessary for the meeting
• Coordinate with an alternate who can act on behalf of the Contractor when the Project Manager is absent

Minimum Qualifications

• Program/project management experience leading teams in conducting analysis or security assessments, and review and/or development of system security plans
• At least eight years of hands‑on cybersecurity and security analysis experience
• Expertise in the development and review of SSPs
• Certified at IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP).
• Knowledge of the DAAPM, RMF, NIST 800-53, and NISP
• Approved personnel with TS clearance
• Pass an employer background check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid client service, time management and leadership skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is $97,000.
