Program Manager – Audio Visual, Electronic Security & Structured Cabling
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly organized Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects across Audio Visual (AV), Electronic Security (ES), and Structured Cabling disciplines. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and communicator capable of driving alignment across Project Managers, Operations, Sales, and executive stakeholders. This role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery across multiple projects by maintaining visibility into program performance, managing risk, and driving consistency in execution. The Program Manager plays a critical role in supporting the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction coordination and planning through execution, commissioning, and closeout while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of projects across AV, Electronic Security, and Structured Cabling to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and company objectives.
- Provide leadership and support to Project Managers and Project Coordinators across assigned programs.
- Maintain constant communication with internal teams including PMO, Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Field Teams.
- Provide regular program‑level updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Monitor overall program health including schedule performance, financials, risks, and resource allocation.
- Identify and manage interdependencies across projects to prevent conflicts and delays.
- Drive consistency in project execution including kickoff, scheduling, documentation, billing, and closeout processes.
- Support and enforce PMO standards, tools, and best practices across all projects.
- Oversee project financial performance including revenue, cost tracking, margin, and cash flow.
- Support change order identification, development, and execution across projects.
- Identify, track, and mitigate program‑level risks and issues.
- Act as an escalation point for major project or client concerns.
- Support coordination with General Contractors, clients, subcontractors, and AHJs as needed.
- Collaborate with Operations on resource planning and staffing across projects.
- Ensure accurate and consistent project documentation and reporting.
- Support continuous improvement efforts including lessons learned and process enhancements.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project or program management within construction, low‑voltage, or technology integration industries.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of AV, Electronic Security, Structured Cabling, or similar systems preferred.
- Experience with project financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and change orders.
- Familiarity with AIA billing processes and contract execution with General Contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with project management tools such as Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
