Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager based in the United States.

The role offers the opportunity to lead strategic technology programs that shape the future of technology-enabled supply chains. You will oversee initiatives spanning ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS platforms, connecting business priorities with customer needs and technical execution. The role combines program leadership, process engineering, systems optimization, and emerging AI-enabled automation. You will work across internal teams, customers, engineering groups, system integrators, and technology vendors to deliver scalable solutions. Your work will directly influence order-to-fulfillment efficiency, operational visibility, system integration, and process adoption. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic, analytical leader who enjoys solving complex operational challenges and turning them into measurable improvements.

Accountabilities
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs across ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS platforms, driving improvements in system integration, fulfillment efficiency, automation, and operational visibility.
  • Develop program charters, roadmaps, timelines, resource plans, milestones, and stakeholder reporting while managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into scalable technology solutions, functional specifications, system designs, and actionable engineering priorities.
  • Analyze end-to-end supply chain workflows, including order entry, allocation, receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and system handoffs, to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure clean data flow and process alignment across enterprise platforms, with particular attention to order lifecycle transitions and integration points.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, business process re-engineering, and other continuous improvement approaches to redesign processes before introducing new technology.
  • Evaluate AI-enabled tools and automation opportunities, assessing their feasibility, potential ROI, and ability to solve genuine business problems.
  • Manage scope, risks, dependencies, change control, and design decisions, ensuring issues are resolved and programs continue progressing toward delivery.
  • Provide technical oversight across WMS, ERP, and connected applications, including integration layers, APIs, EDI, and emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams on backlog management, sprint and release planning, user acceptance testing, implementation, go-live, stabilization, and post-deployment support.
  • Work closely with external customers to understand requirements, onboard them to systems and capabilities, and develop roadmaps for new or enhanced functionality.
  • Collaborate with technology partners and software vendors to evaluate solutions, monitor performance, and ensure business requirements are delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Partner with IT teams and system integrators to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop clear as-is and to-be process documentation, SOPs, system topology materials, training resources, and other documentation that reduces reliance on undocumented institutional knowledge.
  • Lead change management, communications, training, and end-user adoption to ensure new systems and processes deliver their intended business value.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations technology, including at least 3 years in program or project management.
  • In-depth functional knowledge of at least two of the following platforms: ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS; hands-on experience across all four is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs from initiation and planning through implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Practical understanding of AI and automation tools and their application to business process improvement, including the ability to evaluate feasibility, business value, and ROI.
  • Experience applying process engineering and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, business process re-engineering, or value stream mapping.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to use operational data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and guide business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured processes, technical requirements, and executable plans.
  • Experience with system modernization or replatforming initiatives, including migrations from legacy on-premises systems to cloud platforms, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EDI, API integrations, supply chain analytics, and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience working with engineering teams on backlog prioritization, sprint planning, UAT, releases, and post-production support.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive decisions to completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • PMP, PgMP, Six Sigma, Lean, or comparable professional certification is preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on relevant skills, experience, location, internal equity, and local market considerations.
  • Health and welfare benefits designed to support employee well-being.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Paid leave programs.
  • Opportunity to lead high-impact technology and supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS, AI-enabled automation, systems integration, and process engineering.
  • Collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, professional development, and operational excellence.
  • Opportunity to work directly with customers, engineering teams, technology partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Growth opportunities within an established and expanding organization.
